This condo features a remodeled kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has a stall shower in the bath without a tub. Guests who need to do a little work or catch up on emails will enjoy the high-speed internet. 4 people maximum occupancy.

Great view!

We had an amazing time at Kahana Reef! The view was amazing and the location perfect! There were restaurants and shops within walking distance and was a very safe area. Kahana #211 was very nice. The carpet was in rough shape but overall the condo was very clean upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Room 211

We have stayed in this room several times. I absolutely love the set up. The views are wonderful in all the condos but I like the kitchen in this one the best. The only issue we had was the blender does not work and it definitely needs some butcher knives for cutting into pineapple and larger things.the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes so i had to rewash and put those away. I shouldnt have to do this if i am paying a cleaning fee. all in all I would definitely stay again.

Home Sweet Home

Lovely place with a well-equipped kitchen. The only comment is that it’s nice if the kitchen also has some basic spices , some coffee and coffee fixings. Canadian arrivals are generally at night so you’re unable to get any basics or groceries upon arrival. Some units have some basics but this one didn’t. Not a big issue but a nice to have situation.

Fabulous in Every Way

This is the second time that we’ve rented through Chase’n Rainbows, and the second time we’ve stayed in a unit at Kahana Reef. We’ve loved our stays here both times. Unit 211 has been our favorite so far. Everything was immaculate and it was tastefully decorated and very clean. We had absolutely no complaints about anything. The property is also very well managed and maintained.
If I had anything more to request, it would be to add a few extras, like snorkeling equipment and boogie boards.They did provide 2 beach chairs in good condition, which we’re very much appreciated.
Also, a portable air conditioner would be nice to have, as the sun can get pretty intense in the afternoons....and you don’t want to close the drapes on your wonderful view of the ocean below.
We hope to be able to return here many times on our future visits to Maui.

Maui stay with a baby

Our stay at the Kahana reef room 211 was amazing. The location of the condos is great, with a private beach to the right and grassy area in front of the condos. 5 min drive to the coastal walk and to other local beach’s and golf course. Condo was clean and everything worked except the wifi was a bit slow. Think the router needs to be replaced. The company was helpful in dealing with it however. Amazing views from the balcony. Can’t beat the location and view. Great time of year to go as there were many many whales swimming by and popping heads out daily. We had a great time. Nice being on the 2nd floor. One of the nicer units we have stayed in.

Only one complaint

Other than a none working dishwasher full of dirty dishes and no return contact regarding our concerns, this place was incredible!!! I would definitely stay here again! Great view of the ocean, good location, and close to lots of great spots!

Great location

We stayed here mid January and had a great time. The place was clean and ready for us when we arrived. It was perfect for the two of us on our long weekend. It does not supply beach towels so you have to order, and pay, ahead of time. Although I did pre order towels, they never arrived. I contacted the number provide and spoke with a person who assured me the towels would arrive within a few hours and never did. Other than that, the place overall is in a perfect location to Lahaina and Kapalua which we visited frequently. We will most likely stay here again on a future visit to Maui.

The condo complex, Kahana Reef is the most delightful, clean, beautifully landscaped and quite all with a view of the ocean. I cannot think of a better place to stay, just a short distance to the 'action' of Lahina.

Perfect vacation!

This condo was everything we wanted and more! Waking up every morning to the views of neighboring islands was incredible and the small beach to the right of the condo was very private... we even had a seal swim up on the beach right near us! The condo was very clean and well put together. The kitchen and bathroom were recently updated and absolutely beautiful! Also, there was no A/C but if you open the patio door and the windows in the bedroom and turn on the fans it very quickly cools off the condo. All in all, it was a great vacation and this condo is a great deal for the price. We hope to be back in the next few months! Mahalo!

Awesome condo. Probably have stayed at the Kahana Reef 6 or 7 times in different units, , and plan on coming back some more . Incredible views and about as close to the ocean as you can find on Maui.. I would HIGHLY recommend both this property and Chase and Rainbows.

Great Vacation

Very comfortable, nicely appointed condo. There were problems with Chas'n Rainbow's, shorted us on number of towels that were suppose to be in unit causing us to have to do laundry. Only negative of condo itself was difficulty in signing onto WiFi and then it is NOT the most secure probably old router.

Kahana Reef 211 was perfect for my husband and me. One week in Maui, this condo was in a beautiful location, right on the ocean. A short drive to many attractions, yet away from the busy-ness of Lahaina. We could walk to shops, restaurants, a dive shop, a farmer's market, beaches. Quiet for sleeping, a well-equipped kitchen, a view of the ocean from the lanai, a lovely pool to use. Spotless. The management company, Chase 'N' Rainbows, organized everything and was very helpful. We would definitely return.

Perfect place for a couple!

This was our first trip to Maui and wanted a secluded place perfect for a couple. This place was exactly what we wanted. We did not have any problem to enter or locate this place. Upon arrival we found the room as it is shown in the pictures. Lovely place... My husband and my favorite place is the lanai overlooking the ocean. What a great sight! The noise of the ocean waves and vast stretch of blue ocean was a treat to the eyes! A perfect place away from the crowd and yet very close to the city and restaurants. I would love to get back to this place again in future. Highly recommended!

A truly relaxing getaway

I highly recommend this unit & the management company. The price was great! The condo is exactly as pictured and the kitchen is huge! We loved the ability to cook our meals and enjoy them on the oceanfront deck. You are literally feet from the ocean! The location was great and we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches to the south while still being near all the action. The complex is right next to a small beach but very close to some of the best beaches, snorkeling, and sights in Maui. For a relaxing and breathtaking vacation, I don't think you can go wrong here.

Great first trip to Maui

My first trip to Hawaii was to attend my son's wedding. We decided to make it a vacation as well and allowed 10 days for the trip. Several months in advance we started searching the internet for a place to stay and decided early on that we wanted to stay in a condo versus a standard hotel. We liked the idea of a more home like atmosphere given how long we were staying. We narrowed our choices down using a variety of criteria including price, location, and general amenities. Kahana Reef #211 was the choice. The management company was great to work with, easy to contact and very prompt with responses to all of our questions. There system for getting you in and out of the unit was great, you just need to read the material and pay attention to the directions. It was clear from the moment we walked in the door that the owners of the unit take great pride in it's appearance and furnishings. I'm sure they thoroughly enjoy the time they spend there. The Kahana Reef is a 88 unit building with all units having lanai's on the ocean side. I liked that it was very close to the water, no beach immediately in front of the building, but beach access was right next door when you want to hit the water. The unit did not have air-conditioning, but it was not a problem at all with the natural flow through ventilation the building has. The ceiling fans worked well to keep the air moving and I never felt uncomfortably warm. Others in the wedding party who visited us all remarked that we had gotten the best deal. I would highly recommend this unit to others.

Wonderful whale watching right from our balcony!

This was our third visit to Kahana Reef. The units have always been nice, but this one was the best so far. The kitchen/living area was very nice. Loved the way it was set up. Wish there had been a set of binoculars to see the whales better, so you might want to bring your own if staying during whale season. The neighbors were kind enough to lend us theirs a few times. Two weeks was hardly enough time, we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Awesome again

This was the third time staying in Maui. We stayed in room 211. It could not have been any better. The service of chasin rainbows was excellent and so easy to set up. The picture of the room was just what it was like. With other companies you may not even get a picture of the same room you stay in. We had all we needed to cook our dinners when we chose to and the bed was very comfy however they could upgrade the sofa bed. We will be back next year and we will be going through this company again. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. P.s. It would be so helpful to have a change machine in the laundry room, maybe you could put in a suggestion.

We loved this condo!!!

We stayed in this beautiful condo for 4 nights of our 8 night stay on Maui recently. I wish we could have stayed here the whole time! What a drastic difference between our first condo in Kihei and this one!! We were so excited when we got to the Kahana Reef #211. Very nicely remodeled and decorated and fabulous location overlooking the ocean. We saw whales and turtles every day from that great lanai. The beds were very comfortable, even the pullout in the living room, which was a pleasant surprise. We felt like we were in someone's very nice home, not a rental property. Oh, another bonus of this place was the China Boat restaurant right across the street. So convenient!! We got our food to go and ate it on the lanai. However, we also prepared some great meals in that wonderful kitchen. So spacious!! I feel like I can't say enough nice things about this place. I will definitely stay here again!!

What a great place to stay!

Chase N Rainbows were great to deal with. My boyfriend dealt with them directly and he said they were always very helpful. Kahana Reef 211 was a great apartment. It had everything we needed for the week we stayed - we loved cooking in the kitchen and having nights in. The maintenance staff were always friendly. This resort is in a great location. There's a supermarket 5 mins walk away and the ocean is right out the front of the resort. The laundry facilities are great, however, make sure you always have quarters as they don't have a change machine. The only thing missing from the apartment is an ipod/iphone dock to listen to music. Loved the wifi as this allowed me to keep in touch with friends and family back home as I didn't have international roaming. A perfect stay! I would definitely come back to this resort 🙂

Awesome Condo!

We enjoyed this rental greatly. It was definitely the nicest on the island! Very comfortable, no problems - even with internet, which others had in their condos. Loved sitting on the lanai every morning - lanai furniture was very nice and comfortable, not the generic table and chairs... Easy location to everything - Very upscale condo - will recommend to anyone that I know who is going to Maui!

From the moment we worked with Leslie at Chase N Rainbows, I was very happy with how I was treated in the process of selecting a unit and subsequently booking it. Leslie had recommended the unit we ultimately chose, along with others, and we were very happy with getting more than we saw pictures of. The unit was immaculately clean and well stocked with towels, extra pillows, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, etc. Everything was fully operational and the trip was awesome. We will definetly use Chase N Rainbows for our next trip to Maui! The Kahana Reef is a great place. I have been to Maui half a dozen times and this place is the closest I have ever stayed to the ocean, a mere few feet away. With a beautiful sandy beach next to the property, we really didnt have to go anywhere. Snorkeling in the reefs in front of the property was great with at least 2 turtles sightings a day from our lanai.

Relaxing summer vacation

The fully furnished kitchen made it simple to prepare meals when we felt like staying in. Everything about the condo was very inviting. We felt like it was our home away from home.

Ahhh!

Loved this beautiful and quiet condo. We got up every morning at the crack of dawn, drank our coffee on the lanai and watched the whales and sea turtles just past the reef. Every night we had a prime view of the sunset. No restaurant could match it. It was a little slice of heaven for 2 weary mainlanders! And we'd go back again.

Kahana Reef #211 A great place to stay. Hilton class.

When we pulled up outside this apartment block we were not disappointed with the exterior, it is OK, but we wondered what the apartment would be like. But get into this newly refurbed apartment and it is great. It is a place you feel totally relaxed in. We stayed in a few nights and cooked our own dinners in the simple laid out kitchen area. The utensils and dish-ware were good, the fridge freezer was excellent and the cabinets in the bedroom were very nice. The bathroom is also very nice.You cannot go wrong in this apartment. We were there for 7 nights and they were all good. Our follow on Apartment in Kihei was no match for the decor, style, and relaxing mode this apartment put you in. After a days enjoyment of the surrounding sites, coming back to this home, is like coming home.And by the way, the view from the lounge is to die for. The balcony furniture was also good. Although there is no beach to speak of, the grounds are well kept and there are clean BBQ's to use. There are two very nice beaches five minutes, north, up the road.If I had to own a property in Kahana this would be one of the top picks. Very nice. Would stay again.
