Stunning ocean front views from the 9th floor in this beautifully remodeled & tastefully furnished condo on Kahana Bay. A large wrap-around lanai, accessible from the living room and master bedroom, adds to the view. In addition to the HD TV & Blu-Ray DVD player in the living room there is a also a HD TV in the master bedroom. Surf the web with the Wi-Fi signal provided. The master bathroom features a large walk-in tiled shower with glass doors, while the guest bath has a tub/shower. A half bathroom has been added in the entry hallway. Royal Kahana is an ocean front resort and is walking distance to shops and restaurants including Maui Brewing Co, China Boat, Dollie's Pub and Cafe and the Beach House Kahana.

Great Unit, but...

This is a beautiful unit, with an amazing view. My only complaint is with Chase N Rainbows' maintenance and/or housekeeping staff. When we checked in, the carpet in the second bedroom had a soaking wet spot left over from an AC repair. I called, but nobody came to dry it out. There were also cockroaches in the kitchen, and they said that they would set bait stations, but never did. Nevertheless, I will definitely come back to this unit again.

Best Views & location

We just stayed in the wonderful unit at Royal Kahana and there no description of the view that can fully provide you the experience. 180 degree view of Lanai & Molokai. Sunrise every morning highlights Lanai and sunset splits the islands.
The unit is very comfortable and we used it as home base to entertain our two daughters & their families (9 of us) for dinners. The Kahana Bay location is wonderful to explore West Maui. Beaches, hiking and restaurants.

Golden Spot

Our return visit to this location after having been owners here. Chase'N Rainbows does a great job with their units and they are very responsive to any issues that may arise during a stay. We had minor one with the Coffee Maker and it was replaced that day (a Sunday) without any problem. Location, Location, Location could not be more true than at The Royal Kahana. Many whales sightings, numerous turtle sighting from our balcony and while snorkeling. Conveniently located but not in a real busy area.

Well worth it.

You Will See So Many Whales (in season)!!

Come at peak whale season (we came 1st week in Feb) and you will see non-stop whales right from your balcony. Whales spouting, breaching, fin and tail slapping, mothers, babies, even sea turtles...we saw it all from our perfect viewpoint. The unit had everything we needed to cook our meals and sleep two couples comfortably. You could invite the whole building up for a drink and still never run out of glasses. Comfy sofa and chairs, smart TV, great wifi, keyless entry (no check in required), three bathrooms...but who cares about all that when you will spend all of your time out on that amazing balcony?? My only suggestion would be to provide some basic kitchen staples like salt, pepper, oil, etc. It gets expensive having to buy all that stuff just for a one week stay.

Location and view are simply stunning. Layout of the condo is convenient. Not having beach towels available (or any beach stuff) was a small disappointment. Kitchen is well set up for basic meal prep.

Beautiful Unit with fabulous view....photos do not do it justice. Entire complex very well maintained and on-site personnel extremely friendly. Due to our “user error re tv and an outlet” had to call maintenance and issues were resolved in less than an hour.....Chase ‘N Rainbows is excellent, we have rented thru them in the past and we actually seek them out first, when coming to Maui.

Breathtaking View

This is a beautiful and spacious unit! Lots of room to spread out. It was so nice to have a bathroom attached to each bedroom plus a large powder room. The unit was spotlessly clean and decorated really well. We especially enjoyed watching the sunsets from the spectacular wrap-around lanai that was accessible from the dining area, the living area, and the main bedroom. Outstanding unit!!

Maui vacation

The location was perfect. There were plenty of stores and food options close by. The unit was clean but there were a few small issues. The iron was broken, and actually had chunks of the iron missing. In the master bathroom, one of the sinks drain plunger was broken and we didn't know until we turned on the water and it wouldn't drain. This made for a great swimming pool for these little black bugs that kept popping up. Overall our stay was enjoyable.

Best lanai ever. Awesome to go to sleep to the sound of the surf. Nice pool and decent gym. Friendly staff. Complimentary coffee in the lobby is a very nice touch. Have stayed in this complex previously and would do so again.

Perfect place to stay

This condo was absolutely perfect. We went with our two daughters (14 and 12) and my mom. My mom and 14 year old slept in the room with the twin beds and my 12 year old slept on the pull out couch in the family room. It was really nice having the extra 1/2 bath for her near the living room. She used our room to shower but otherwise had her own bathroom to use.

The location could not have been more perfect. As you can see from the pictures the view was exceptional. Even better in person. The color of the water was so beautiful and we saw turtles swimming in the water every day. It was also very close to some great snorkeling spots. Our favorite was about 2 miles away. It was a nice and quiet spot. It was close to all of the hangouts, within 10 minutes of Kaanapali and Lahaina where you can find plenty of restaurants and shopping.

We loved the snorkeling at Kapalua bay and Honolua. They have a great happy hour at the Sea house restaurant at Napili Kai which was about 1.5 miles from us. We rented snorkel gear from The snorkel store which was very close and would definitely use them again.

The condo had beach chairs and other beach accessories which was nice to have access to. We had such a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again. It really was the perfect vacation. We kept saying to each other how beautiful the view was.

Rainbows and Turtles Everyday!

This is an amazing place, a little north of Front Street in Lahaina, which offers easy access to everything in a quieter setting. The views from the lanai are of Maloka'i and Lanai and daily doses of rainbows and green sea turtles. Snorkeling on the beachfront of Royal Kahana offers the green sea turtles and amazing and colorful fish. Lost one star due to small things - the kitchen is stocked with basics only, good thing I didn't plan to cook dinners. Also, some of the cabinets in the kitchen didn't close well. The Property Management was very responsive and easy to work with! Enjoy!

View, view, view - can't get enough!

The unit was great - clean, comfortable, well set up and stocked. The water pressure was great and hot water came quickly. #1 thing is the view is even better than the pictures. Massive wrap around porch, could have spent vacation trapped on it and it would have been a great vacation!

Only negative is the underground parking deck - stay out of it! Small, tight, and found out the hardway that not all the low clearances were marked (quote from security guy after our rented jeep's roof was scratch) - that bar is supposed to have a sign on it, but it keeps getting knocked off by people hitting it. Totally not this unit owner's fault, but pretty ****** thing. I'd stay in this unit again in a heartbeat, just not go back in the underground parking.

Amazing view!!

The view is amazing and the space is great. The 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths was so helpful because we were traveling with our 2 teenagers. Kitchen was great for preparing breakfast and lunch. Being oceanfront and hearing the waves was what we wanted and this condo delivered.

Fabulous

This property was even better than pictured, with plenty of supplies (paper towels, soap, cleaning supplies, towels, etc). My one and only small complaint is that there was only one medium sized pot to cook in. A large pasta pot is needed.This condo is clean, well stocked, in a lovely area and a good value. All the staff here is very friendly and helpful as well. Would love to come back. View from lanai is unbeatable.

Exactly as described and you couldnt ask for a better host. Quick responses not only about the condo but about the area and activities. An immaculately clean space with all the comforts of home. The sound of waves put us to sleep each night and during the day we had the pleasure of watching turtles and whales from our lanai. Location cant be beat. So close to Front Street, Whalers Village and Fleming Park. Short drive to Maalaea Harbor. Perfection

Awesome condo!

The lanai and view is amazing! I was very pleased how clean the condo was. I am one that notices vents and baseboards and they were all clean. Furniture is comfortable and kitchen was great to make some meals. No issues with check in/out very easy. Also appreciated that there were extras of paper towels and toilet paper. Wonderful experience and would stay again and will use Chase n Rainbows again.

5 Stars Amazing Experience

We had an amazing experience staying in #911. Once we walked into the front door we were greeted with beautiful ocean views. The view from the lanai was amazing. Really enjoyed watching the turtles pass by every morning and then again in the evening. The bedrooms were fantastic and comfortable. Although beach access was limited, it was a short 5 min walk to find a place to dip our toes in the ocean. We had such an amazing experience and were saddened to leave. Can't wait to enjoy our stay here again or in another one of their properties.

Great space with a GREAT view!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Royal Kahana Unit 911. We arrived late and were so pleased to settle in so quickly because it felt like home. It had absolutely everything we needed and had a great amount of space to spread out which was a big deal for a large family. The Beds were all comfortable! The pull out sofa mattress could use replacing (but we had younger kids sleeping on that) and the carpets could use some freshening up in the nearish future. But really, no complaints here. The kitchen had lots of dishes and it was really nice to cook in. The BBQs down by the pool were cleaned every morning and worked great. Updates throughout ; and we also really appreciated having 2.5 baths. The master suite shower was lovely. That Lanai!!!! It was incredible. The wrap around view was incredible and we spent so much time in the mornings and evenings enjoying turtle watching down below:) The rest of the hotel was great too. Staff was so friendly and helpful if we had any questions at all; they were quick to help. Coffee served down in the lobby each morning. The pool was very clean and well taken care of. Lots of lounge chairs to choose from throughout the day. We took a few walks down the beach and got access from the next door hotel as the Royal Kahana beach has eroded a fair bit. But that didnt bother us at all as we rented a car and drove to our favourite beaches each day anyways. There are plenty close by! We loved how quiet the hotel was. It truly is a piece of paradise and we would come back in a heart beat to stay at the Royal Kahana. This suite made our family trip extra special and relaxing which is just what we needed. Thank you so much! We cant wait to get back to Maui!

We absolutely loved our stay in unit 911. It had everything we needed to really enjoy our visit here in Maui. The view alone is tremendous. Full kitchen, 2.5 baths, in house laundry made everything so easy for a big family. The suite is spacious and comfortable. We added the little package to rent beach towels and coolers etc and it was perfect! The pool was always clean, warm and inviting; and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Thank you!! We cannot wait to get back!
