2021 Maui Travel Updates

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM OUR 'OHANA:

The Chase 'N Rainbows 'Ohana appreciates that the COVID-19 situation presents unprecedented, challenging times for everyone. Please note the following important information.  

OUR NO RISK BOOKING POLICY FOR GUEST ARRIVING THROUGH DECEMBER 18, 2021:

To secure a reservation, a deposit of 50% of the reservation total is required at time of booking for each condo booked. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.  For all reservations made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is due at time of booking. 

Cancel fees for arrivals through December 18, 2021 are being waived and you may cancel without penalty and for a full refund up any time prior to arrival.

Trans-Pacific Travel Info:

Travelers entering Hawaii from other states in the U.S. and its territories who have been fully vaccinated in the United States may bypass quarantine without a pre-travel test. The vaccination record document must be uploaded to the state’s Safe Travels Program website and have the card with them upon arrival in the State of Hawaii.

Other travelers can continue to bypass quarantine with a negative COVID-19 test result from a tested partner no more than 72 hours before beginning the final leg of their trip to Hawaii. Anyone without a negative test prior to departure must quarantine upon arrival. The negative test result must be uploaded to the state’s Safe Travels Program website or presented as a hard copy upon arrival in Hawaii. 

Travelers who did not submit to a COVID test prior to their departure must quarantine for a minimum of 10 days or their entire stay whichever is shorter. The traveler must stay in a designated quarantine property. By law, Chase ‘N Rainbows cannot accept guests subject to quarantine restrictions. By law, Chase ‘N Rainbows cannot accept guests subject to quarantine restrictions due to failure to participate in the pre-travel COVID testing program.

On July 8th, social gatherings will be expanded to 25 people indoors and 75 people outdoors.  Restaurants will be able to increase capacity to 75% - with the maximum group sizes of 25 indoors and 75 outdoors.

Maui County Rules

To follow are the latest rules, effective Oct. 17, 2021:

  • Social gatherings for indoors restricted to 10 people and outdoors to 25 people. (This applies to gatherings at home.)
  • Bars and restaurants can remain open until midnight. Restaurants will allow up to 10 guests per table.
  • Unvaccinated patrons can dine indoors with a negative COVID-19 test 48 hours prior.
