Baldwin Home Museum
The Baldwin House Museum is a treat for history buffs and those who love architecture. It is the oldest standing house on Maui, built in 1834 and 1835. Very shortly after its conception, Rev. Dwight Baldwin and his family moved into the home. The Reverened and his wife, Charlotte, had many children, and they began adding onto the house as they needed more room.
The Baldwin House Museum is still standing strong, and you can take tours of it throughout the week. On Friday evenings, you can take a special candle lit tour and see how the family lived back in the 1800's. Admission to the museum is very affordable, and you'll also get access to the Wo Hing Museum when you purchase a ticket to the Baldwin Museum.
