Kapalua Bay Beach

One of the most well-known beaches in Maui, Kapalua Bay offers calm, protected waters that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Surrounded by coconut palms, this crescent of pristine golden sand provides plenty of room for play and relaxing sunbathing. Great views of Molokai can be seen on clear days, and whales have been known to congregate offshore during whale season. Lava rock outcroppings at either end of this bay aid in protecting the area from strong off-shore winds that can be felt at other Maui beaches. Perfectly located about ten miles north of Lahaina off Highway 30, Kapalua Bay is both gorgeous and easy to reach.
