Great View

The unit was adequate and clean. Having the washer and dryer was a plus. The bed and sofa were comfortable. The kitchen had enough for simple meals in the unit. The view was great with whales seen daily. There were sugar ants and the housekeeping staff came up to clean the countertop and place ant traps however the ants continued. On Saturday when called back were told the exterminator would be there on Monday however never heard anything again from housekeeping.

Wonderful unit in an excellent building and location

The unit was beautifully situated for looking over the ocean, seeing whales from the lanai and watching sunsets each evening. The unit is small, and the sofa is quite saggy, but we had everything we needed and were centrally located for the beaches of West Maui. The unit is clean, the bed is very comfortable and we enjoyed how convenient everything was. We plan on coming back and staying in the unit, if possible, in the future.

Great Sunsets!

Our condo 617 had a fabulous view of sunsets, was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and was as well furnished as a fine hotel. Just one negative: the sofa bed was uncomfortable and needs to be replaced.

Royal Kahana 617

Upon arrival to our condo everything was as described , the kitchen was very well appointed, the bed was comfortable. We had no issues and never had a need to reach out to the company for anything. Our view was fabulous. There were two beach chairs and a boogie board for use. Some of the furniture in the condo was a little older, mismatched and dated, but it served its purposes we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the pool at the condo, and the surrounding areas. My one and only complaint would be that the shade for the sliding glass door was not a blackout shade. It did dim the outside light some but not completely. We were usually up pretty early most days so not a huge deal. Our stay was great and honestly I would choose royal kahana in the future

Perfect little getaway

The studio #617 was perfect for the price. A murphy bed and pull out couch were comfy. The view was just as described. Overlooking the pool and towards the ocean. You can see the sunset from there if you prefer to stay in. Room had 2 beach chairs and a boogie board that were appreciated. Hop over the sandbags and you are at the beach. The pool water was very warm which was perfect for the afternoon rain and evening temps. There is an ice machine avail - have to ask for the keycard. Walking distance to Maui Coffee and Maui Brewery. Very centrally located. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place with a superb view

Very nice place with a superb view. Very practical to have a fridge, stove, etc to be able to eat there once in a while. We loved to have breakfast on the outside deck. Best way to start your day. Pool was super warm. The entire building is well maintained by the staff. We loved it. On the improvement side, the sliding door are getting old so it's super easy to not close it correctly and hear whistle wind in the room. But we highly recommend this place!
