Honua Kai #537: This 595-square-foot 5th-floor fully equipped studio in the Konea Tower of North Kaanapali at Honua Kai Resort.
Sliding glass doors enable guests to enjoy the breeze throughout the studio or from their private lanai. There is seating for three guests around a table.
Adjacent to the lanai is the main living space, where there is a plush sofa and table perfect for a game of cards or adventure planning. The sofa converts into a double sleeper sofa.
Granite countertops and ornate tiling decorate the kitchen. You will be inspired to prepare a feast on the kitchen island surrounded by stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Guests can begin their day with a blended concoction from their blender or coffee from their coffee pot at the kitchen island where there is seating for all three guests.
Restore your energy for another day of adventure in your king-size bed for a comfortable night's rest. Bring your laptop and surf the web with free internet access. Sleeps three guests in king-size bed and double sleeper sofa.

1. Kahekili Beach (Airport Beach): Long stretch of white sand beach and a premier choice for a quieter beach for snorkeling and diving.

75% Excellent!

Overall stay, location, management all beyond excellent. We only took carry-on bags and at that, took too much. The resort exceeded our expectations! We swam and snorkled daily right in front of the resort, by recommendations from the daily "Snorkle Report", put out by The Snorkle Store. The unit was very well supplied with beach necessities and all kitchen supplies. Although this did not impact our stay in any way, the cleanliness of the home was not great.

Healing the soul in Maui

My husband and I planned this trip over a year ago. We were looking forward to it. The Honua Kai is one of our favorite locations. We love the beach, the grounds and having poolside service. The location is convenient with everything you need.
The condo is perfect with all the amenities one needs while on vacation.

Super easy check-in/check-out process! Unit was equipped with everything needed to hit the beach and it was nice to have laundry pods and washer dryer in unit, very convenient! Overall, a great stay.

Great Condo in Honua Kai

Nice Studio Condo located in the Honua Kai complex on Maui. Location was perfect, easy access to the beach and doesn’t hurt to have Duke’s Restaurant right on the property! Perfect for my husband and I to celebrate our Anniversary. Great kitchen, stocked with all you need, Fridge, stove/ oven, dishwasher.. dishes, silverware, cookware and plenty of room to move around... Nice king Bed, good size bathroom with shower & separate tub... another plus is the stacked washer & dryer... also provides beach chairs & umbrella. It also has a nice balcony for late afternoon/early evening pupu’s and drinks... view of the ocean as well! Thank you Chase N Rainbows for helping to make our Anniversary trip a wonderful, memorable time!!

We only stayed a short 4 days. But the complex was fantastic and the apartment was exceptional. It was perfect for two people with all the modern conveniences we were not in need of anything for our stay but food and sunshine.

Great Family Vacation

Honua Kai is a beautiful property. My unit was as described but had a few maintenance problems. The air conditioning was not working on arrival, I think it was a setting problem and there was no directions on how to correct this. It took a couple days but it was finally fixed. The other problem was with the shower control, there was no way to control the temperature. It kept moving to very hot and had to rig it to stay in place. The other issue was that the unit was not clean when I arrived but that seemed to be a problem with other units also since the rest of my family were in 2 other units and they were not ready also. Housekeeping said they were short handed. Once they did get them ready they did a great job.

My wife and I could not have been more pleased with our stay in unit 537 at the Honua Kai. We really enjoyed being minutes from Whalers Village, Lahaina and Kaanapali Beach as well as the incredible Napali Bay and Kapalua Coastal Trail. Having Dukes on-site is convenient and delicious! The unit was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. I also need to mention the top notch communication we received before and during our stay from Chase N Rainbows. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful resort!

What a wonderful resort! Very family oriented, quiet and gorgeous. The grounds were so pretty, clean and several great pools to relax. Duke's restaurant provided great service and cold drinks poolside. This studio unit was perfect for the two of us. Enough room, comfy king bed, big bathroom and full kitchen so we could have some meals. The patio was spacious with a wonderful ocean view. The patio doors open all the way for an ocean breeze and the folding screen keeps the bugs out (not many here). I would definitely stay here again! 🙂

Would recommend. Nice view of courtyard, pools and ocean. Honua Kai was very nice with great pools and beach access. We enjoyed hanging by the pools, walking the boardwalk, and snorkeling. The restaurant on site (Dukes) was great and the pool staff very attentive. Love the location in Kaanapali - close to many restaurants and shops and food trucks. The management company was absolutely wonderful - Chase N Rainbows. They were so helpful with travel issues we had (our own issues) and were very accommodating. Will look them up and consider their properties the next time we visit.

Perfect size for 2 to enjoy Maui

Awesome location and building with all the amenities you could want. Walking distance to Times grocery store and some good local restaurants (Maui fish market, Ono Kau Kau, and Dukes is right in front of the building by the water). We walked to Kaanapali several times, about 2 miles with no problem. Neighbors were quiet and we loved how the doors opened up the entire width of the wall to get that sea breeze. Definitely will stay again.

The room is just perfect for us. We got a studio that looks into the courtyard with the ocean beyond. And we are just across from my daughter and her family. The amenities are lovely-comfortable bed, large bath, great appliances and lots of cutlery, pans, glasses, etc. Very convenient to lots of activities.

Don't waste your time looking some where else. You won't regret it. We booked a cruise first and then stayed here for a week. Now we wish we stayed here longer. October is a beautiful time to come to Maui, temps were between 85* to 92* degrees and rates are lower. I can't say enough on how beautiful this resort and condo was. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed (except for beach towels) you had to rent them at the pool or buy some and sleeping was great in that king size bed. Views from our balcony were fantastic. The grounds were beautiful and there were enough pools and hot tubs. We would still give this resort a 5 out of 5 stars. Hopfully we come back to Maui because this is where we are staying .
