Rented this unit based on the picture of the lanai and the location and distance to Kona. It didn’t disappoint!! Beautiful spot, very clean and everything you need for a great stay. Barbecue and pool area was also clean and so nice!! Thank You!

PROS:If you’re going for view and proximity to beach this is a great place to stay. We had a fantastic time in Maui. Could see turtles and whales from lanai. Beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed our meals on the lanai each morning and evening. No AC but really didn’t need it with the wonderful ocean breeze and fans. Not sure I’d want to stay in the summer with no AC. Well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear. Had a leak under the kitchen sink and screen to lanai was torn but management was very quick to respond and fix both issues. The grounds were well kept and beautiful during our stay. Check in and check out was very easy. Ample free parking.
CONS: The unit is very outdated but with that being said, we are not fussy travelers and don’t need the newest and greatest when it comes to decor. However, cleanliness is very important. This unit needs a very good thorough cleaning and fresh coat of paint. The lamp shades are dirty with stains (new shades are an inexpensive fix and would make a huge difference in overall appearance), the tower fan was full of dust, there were dust particles dangling from the popcorn ceiling. There are also very limited electrical outlets which was a little inconvenient when using small kitchen appliances and trying to charge electronic devices but we made it work. Could use another power strip for additional outlets. All the temp settings on the stove are worn off making it difficult to determine temp setting when cooking. We cooked most our meals in the unit so this made cooking challenging.
If you’re looking for luxury accommodations this is not the place to stay, but if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay on Maui with a million dollar view I would definitely recommend it. It wouldn’t take much to improve this unit dramatically with a some elbow grease, a little paint and a few inexpensive upgrades.

I had a wonderful stay. The view is absolutely incredible. The snorkeling and beach in front is very uncrowded and enjoyable. Great location within walking distance to a grocery store. Fully equipped condo with beach accessories to use. The sunsets are stunning from this location. I can’t wss as it to come back

Great views - dirty unit

Views were incredible, unit itself was dirty and outdated. There was weird stuff on the wall in the bathroom, someone else’s dirty socks under the bed and overall just not cleaned well.

Amazing First Trip with Great Views!

Waking up to the ocean view was amazing! This condo was clean and convenient. Although there was no A/C the ocean breeze provided enough to sleep comfortably. My young child enjoyed the nice beachfront and pool while I enjoyed drinking my coffee on the deck. I would definitely stay at this resort again.

Loved the view, saw turtles in the 9ceam from balcony. Unit is overall clean and shower had good water pressure, but hair dryer was so old and bit gunky and there was only one tiny tube of shampoo and conditioner.

Valley Isle 806

We had a wonderful time as always at the Valley Isle Resort. The views are spectacular, perfect for watching the sunsets. The number of whales we saw was amazing. The condo was clean and very nice. We slept amazingly well, listening to the surf at night. And of course Dollies pub across the street is a favorite of ours. We have stayed at the Valley Isle multiple times over the last 20 plus years, and it is always very nice. We have been using Chasenrainbows exclusively every time we have been to Maui. Always have had excellent customer service with Chasenrainbows. Mahalo to the staff at Chasenrainbows, we loom foreword to doing business with them in the future.

Amazing Location And Incredible View

You really can’t beat the location. Within fifteen minutes of Lahaina, just an hour away from the airport. A beachfront that feels extremely private just outside your balcony. There’s a mostly-heated pool downstairs with grills to use and a fantastic coffee shop right across the street. Definitely know though that this is a very dated unit. No AC (not that it’s much of an issue), no ventilation in the bathroom, sparse electrical outlets, and the kitchen appliances are extremely old. The temperature markers on the stove are all rubbed away and the burners do not stay in place well enough to support the weight of the cooking pans provided. If you have a Thereagun or something like that you’re going to want to bring it. The bed is one of the least comfortable you’ll sleep on in your life. Luckily you’ll have the sounds of the ocean waves and the twinkling of stars to help you fall asleep!

Check in was a breeze and Chase 'N Rainbows made sure to give clear directions. The view is spectacular! The best part of our stay was eating breakfast while overlooking the ocean! It was 85-90 degrees during our stay but leaving the door open kept a nice breeze so no AC was not really an issue for us (a little warm). The deck is a perfect place to watch the sunset! Close driving distance to popular beaches and towns like Lahaina. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again!

We love Valley Isle #806!

We love 806 at the Valley Isle Resort. Home is the word that comes to us. Simple,nicely appointed,comfortable, restful bed ,quiet with the sound of the ocean outside all night .... breathing into our dreams. We would wake make our coffee sit on the lanai and enjoy the morning as the world around us woke up. We see a rainbow every morning from the lanai, and turtles as they swam by, whales Breaching in the distance We could and would walk to the nearest beach, shop at the local shops across the street or 5min away, there are farmers markets two to three tomes a week. we even enjoyed happy hour at the neighboring resort. Where could also rent paddle boards and kayaks for an hourly rate. Scooters are only a short bus ride away, the bus stops right In Front of the resort. Surprise snorkel and a set of fins, and boogi board. We would definitely stay here again. We are from a small rural town and felt like we were living in a neighborhood with a fantastic view ... sunset galore every night and the moon light too

The view was everything!

Valley Isle #806 is a great place to stay during vacation on Maui. The view meant so much to us. We stayed in the apartment during the day, because we prefer to go to the beach before 10 a.m. and after 5 p.m. But we had a feeling we never left the beach, it was just more comfortable during the day to be in a cool building. Location is nice, our favorite beach Kapalua was just a few minutes drive from this condo. We found the best shop to buy food and local fruits Farmers Market just 5-7 min. drive

A HEAVENLY VIEW!!!

Waking up every day and seeing this GORGEOUS view every day is reason enough to book this place! I can't complain much about anything about this place except it could use a few updates. The kitchen for sure is a little outdated. The stove only had one working burner. The condo was located across the street from a convenience store which was helpful. Tons of beach choices within minutes! I would book this condo again for future visits!

A cute little spot

It was a cute spot. A little old and has some out dates appliances. The view is amazing. Could have better fans as it gets really hit in the small space. Great location with a ton of nice beaches around. Overall was a pretty good spot

4.75 Stars Room 806 was the Perfect Stay!

Room 806 was the perfect stay! From the time we booked until the day of checkout, there was full communication and specific instructions that were easy to follow. The room was absolutely perfect! Everytime we looked out on the patio there were turtles swimming in the water below us! This resort has small details that really make it personalized!! We really enjoyed our stay here and we enjoyed waking up to the ocean every morning and listening to the waves crash every night!! Free parking is also a huge bonus also!!
